Having no background at all in all this home equipment stuff, I tried my best to explain the problem to Moe who was very patient with me. He came over right away and identified the problem which necessitated replacing my water heater (it was way past its expiry date and was due for replacement, totally on me as I was aware of it at the time I bought the house but completely forgot about it). Moe went ahead and found a replacement and gave us a very reasonable quote and had it set up in a manner that gave us actually more space to move around in the basement.
A big shout out to Moe for what happened next: when everything was fixed, I noticed that we had no heat going through the house, I called him and asked what could be the problem as I assumed (again my lack of knowledge shows here) it had something to do with the water heater. I praise Moe for being extremely patient with me, and he dropped by to double check everything and found out my HVAC filter needed replacing.
